On Friday, August 8th, Thurston and I headed out to Houston from Austin to meet up with Thy and Elliott at their home for their engagement session. Thy and Elliott are getting married in November, and the very first time I met Thy, we spent hours just talking like we've known each other for years and years over a cup of coffee. (It was a big cup. :oP). Thy and Elliott already have a really talented photographer covering their wedding, but I think Thy became a little bit of a stalker and asked me to shoot their e-session which I was thrilled to do! I honestly do love meeting my readers (stalkers) and getting to know them and them knowing me on a one-on-one basis. :) Anyways stalkers, we had such a blast with them on the shoot!!! We started down at the heights and then they kidnapped Thurston and I to Galveston. Which was a good thing, because we didn't have to drive and Thurst and I got to practice our dance moves (don't ask, but if we should ever bust it out at a wedding, you know it's going to be phenom!!) I know that Thy has been waiting very patiently for her blog to be up...so without further ado...........

Stalkers, meet Elliott and Thy. This is by far one of my favorite images from the shoot. I was having them kiss here and they aren't a pda sorta couple - but I think you have to be if you are going to do an engagement session with me. Not too much kissing involved in this picture, but I love the joy here. :)

A family portrait with mom+dad kissing. :) I love that Thy and Elliott had matching converses and pink converses rock!!

Of course we had to do a very traditional image - in case the 'rents wanted them. :)

Under the pier. So stalkers (if you are a photogeek), you've probably noticed that I've been able to do alot more night time images with beautiful light on the side - and that's because I actually have someone "slaving" a light for me! I don't know how I ever managed before. By the way we had to navigate through a lot of birds and bird poop to get to this area. I know, TMI.
