Hanh + Nam : Engaged
I know these images have been a long time coming. :) Stalkers, meet my friends - Hanh and Nam. I have known Hanh since even before I moved to Austin and even before she met or dated Nam! They got engaged last year after she finally beat him in a game of Dominoes. The bet was that if she beat him at Dominoes then he would propose to her. Romantic right? Anyways, they don't have a date set yet. Or even a venue. Or any of the big stuff - just their wedding photographer - which would be me. And the Tuesday following Memorial Day weekend, they came over to my house with a ton of clothes....some of which I really liked..some that I vetoed..and we did make a little trip out to the mall to pick up a few more items before we started the shoot. Thurston shot this session with me and is actually responsible for a few of the poses on here. :) So anyways, here we go........
This is Hanh - who is wayyyy too pretty for the likes of Nam :oP. She helps manages one of my favorite sushi restaurant in Austin - Kenobi down at the Arboretum. Their corn lobster bisque is absolute yummmmmmmmm!!! If you have not checked out their food...you need to go try it!
Nam occassionally DJ. He's otherwise known as: DJ Filet Mig"NAM" and Hanh's alias is Chick Filet. I know, cute right?

I saw this place off the freeway...and it was hard to resist. I think it used to be a restaurant and now it's empty.
These plaid shorts were purchased an hour earlier.......aren't they cute??
I just like the whole feel of this.
So, it was seriously hot outside...and we decided it was best to forgo the heat and just shoot the rest of the session inside my house and around the neighborhood. This is their "divorce" picture. My baby - Blade - is camera happy, so he jumped up onto the couch to get his 15 seconds of fame. I may be biased...but I think he totally rocked this picture. :)
Shot at the window....have you guys ever seen the video with Jimmy Kimmel and Ben Affleck. This is what this picture reminded me of. :).........And finally, we ended the shoot right outside the front door in the road.
